FAQ

Boarding

Yes. All of our kennel runs are heated and air conditioned.

You are welcome to bring your own blankets and bedding. We can provide blankets or something soft to lay on if you request it. Please put your name on all bedding and make sure it is smaller than a full sized blanket and that it is washable.

Yes! All treats need to be in an air tight container or have a sealable bag. Toys of all kinds are welcome with the exception of raw hides.

We are a traditional boarding kennel. We do not have large play groups of dogs interacting with each other. If you are boarding more than one dog, then yes, dogs from the same household can play together outside of their run. If permission is given by BOTH owners of dogs that are friends outside of the kennel, we will allow them to play together. Otherwise, all of our playtime is one-on-one (dog and human).

Absolutely! We are inspected at random by the state of North Carolina so we are always ready for someone to stop by and look around. We ask that you wait till at least 10am so that we may finish attending to our guests morning needs. As much as we would love to meet your dog, please leave them home when you want to tour our facility. It is not fair to your dog or our guests to have them paraded in front of each other while we tour the building.

Our procedures depend on the severity of the emergency. If it is a life threatening emergency or immediate medical treatment is needed we will go to the first emergency vet that has availability. You will be called once we have the dog in the care of the vet or the situation has stabilized. If the emergency is urgent but not critical we will call you before we leave for the emergency vet and provide details of where we are going and why. If your dog needs medical attention but it is not urgent, we will call you first and ask how you would like us to proceed. Vet bills that are incurred while boarding with us are the responsibility of the owner unless it is caused by our actions.
